ConductorNeal Brumbeloe is a LaGrange native, graduating from LaGrange High School. He attended Auburn University where he received his B.S. In Music Education and, later, a Master's Degree in Conducting. While attending Auburn, Neal was the male vocalist and tenor saxophonist for the Auburn Knights Orchestra, the oldest university related “Big Band” in the world.
Neal's hobbies include architectural drafting, community theater and magic. He has performed with the Springer Opera House, LaGrange College Theater, LSPA Theater, New Horizons Theater and can be seen in the feature film “Things Don't Stay Fixed”. He has taught magic at Berry College in Rome, Georgia and performed magic shows from the mountains of Tennessee to the shores of Jekyll Island. Neal has 17 years experience as a public school band director, 16 years as director of the First Baptist Church Orchestra and 10 years as director of the LaGrange Community Band. |
