LaFayette Wreath Laying Ceremony - Sept. 6, 2019

September 6, 2019, marked the second year celebration of Marquis de Lafayette Day in honor of the Revolutionary War hero.

The Lafayette Alliance, local officials, history enthusiasts and music, theater and other students from schools in the community gathered at the LaGrange Georgia square Friday morning to take part in the second annual wreath laying and commemoration ceremony.

In honor of the celebration, the LaGrange Community Band performed the U.S. and French anthems and other music.
